At last they found out how to do, they started the engine (with the starting handle off course) and then a fishing wire was connected to the carburetor and 1st gear was selected.
Now all they had to do was to go over the river and pull the wire and the car came after without driver.
This was possible thanks to the centrifugal clutch, that engages when engine revs up.
